This study will focus on the racial violence effects on social movement, specifically looking at the march of Washington 1963 and the summer protest 2020 following the death of George Floyd
The purpose of this research is for my senior capstone project, but to also gain an understanding of protest, and the social movements progress towards change nonviolently. As being an educated Black men in America it is important to understand these issues to further encourage change in some way.
The independent variable in this is racial violence, and the dependent variable is the protest art, with the idea that this violence will provoke a certain tone within these different types of protest
